Ship graduated with a 4.0. I know they make take some watered down classes but still.....to get through everything with all A's is quite impressive. I think he'll be fine no matter what he chooses to do...

Hail, 4.0 seems to be the norm these days. Higher Ed has become a business that depends on growth and increasing revenue. Half the students used to flunk out. I don't believe all these "3 year graduates" are that brilliant.

im not trying to be mean. it's just the way it is.
nobody dislikes anyone. but he is not the heart and soul of the team. that's a media thing and a subset of the fanbase thing.

My thoughts on Shipley:
He is a good running back
He is a team leader and smart kid
He has great hands and good speed
He is not ready for the NFL yet
If I were Clemson I would put him at running back and at a wing or slot position to throw him the ball at least 10 times a game. Eddleman was a QB in college and they made him a great receiver. I can see Shippley catching the ball in the open and going for a lot of yardage. I can see him on the speed sweep making defensive coaches have headaches covering that and the fake off it while giving Mahfa the ball. Shipley and Mahfa together casn open up the Off.

He needs to touch the ball 20 times a game at least.
