Someone asked yesterday if Clemson was any closer to making a hire. We traveled to Memphis yesterday so I was away from a computer for huge chunks of the day.... But I've talked to the people that know in Clemson, even as recently as five minutes ago, and all I can say is be patient. There are coaches who are on the list who have teams that are still in their postseason. So until the postseason is complete nothing can be announced.

We might be going after Chattanooga's coach (Shawn Poppie)... and that is not a bad idea at all Faifield's coach (Carly Thibault) is another one to watch... wouldn't be very upset with that option either I don't think FGCU's coach is going anywhere, but he is an incredibly experienced option Tomeika Reid at Jackson State could be an option
I would put my money on Poppie if we could get him with Thibault as the other major contender. I guarantee that Poppie is getting a look at least. Tomeika Reid would probably be the 3rd most likely that's playing tomorrow.
That's assuming we don't have the pull to get someone that is successful at a P-5 school.

Na. We’re gonna find a WBB coach that we can pay more than coach Brownell so you still have something to whine about.

Cootlumbia jump off the highest building, or would they suddenly claim they didn't really care that much about women's basketball, after all?
And don't say she wouldn't come here. She is just vain enough to do that, if the money was right, which we know it won't be.

Need to make this hire the the very best one and get back to the days of winning championships and making the NCAA tournament like Annie Tribble and Jim Davis did...Pathetic how the Clemson Athletic Department has let the program go farther and farther down hill the last 19 years and take it more seriously a lot more seriously because they haven't and it shows with only 2 winning seasons taken place in those 19 years
