If the ladies can win the Duke series, beat Winthrop, then at a minimum win 2 of 3 from ND and Louisville we should be sitting pretty good come ACCT time. A good showing in the ACCT could land us a host site for the NCAAT.

Sweep Duke, win the rest of our games, and win the ACCT and we'd secure a top 8 seed. That is a very large ask, but not impossible. Of course, no matter how we finish, we'll be fighting the SEC bias come seeding time.

Go Tigers...Win 'em all!

I like your enthusiasm, but that’s alot of winning to work back to regional host. To achieve that the Tigers need Valerie back hitting for power and pitching as the staff ace again. On positive side, I’m encouraged that Julia Knowler is finding her groove again in the batters box. Last night they played decent defense, so maybe the adjustments Rittman has made will pay off this weekend. Finally, hoping McCubbin can get back to her early season form from the circle. That would be huge for the Tigers.

I totally agree...it would require consistency, which unfortunately

we haven't seen this year. For the most part, we're winning the games we're supposed to (FU excluded), but struggle with better teams, not just the elite.

I think that Valerie is playing hurt, but we won't know until after the season, if then. Regan has stepped up and Millie seems to be back in form. Brooke still has a ways to go. She sometimes gets in her own head and throws too perfect of a strike.

As for our adjustments on D, I think Rittman is looking at his middle infield for next year. With Knowler at 1st we'll need to pick up a 3B (portal). Millie and Regan returning (if they have a CoVid year) would be huge. We need to browse the portal for an elite pitcher.

Knowler will move to third.
Moore at short.
Brown at second.
Macey Cintron will pitch and play first.

Rittman needs to bring in some pitchers and an outfielder from the portal until Lexie Hames gets here.
Sam Minish will take one of the outfielder's spots immediately.

I wish Moore had moved to short earlier in this season. Better infield instincts than Logoleo and stronger arm than Brown. I guess it came down to Rittman getting comfortable with Logoleo at third which they tried very early in the season with mixed results.

I hope you're right since that will mean the freshman are ready to play
