Please explain how Cade got player of the game over Nate Wiggins. TD saving strip fumble, beautiful secondary play, game sealing interception. Nate was fire today.

Cade played a clean game, didn’t turn the ball over. Some of his decisions still leave you scratching your head wondering why (touchdown run to end the half) and he got bailed out with a roughing the passer call, but didn’t cost the Tigers this time. Nate as always played a heck of a game and showed heart, hustle and a will to win. Reminded me of Jayron Kearse a few years back against Louisville running down the back. But he also got beat a couple times in coverage and that will happen when you are playing best on best and Tez Walker is UNC’s best receiver. I can definitely see Cade or Nate getting praised. I think at the end of the day it’s the stats that Cade didn’t have the interception called back and the score not getting overturned. Great game by both and great Tiger win! Buy some stock while you can afford to. These boys are going to be tough next year and after.

It is inexplicable. But Nate needs to know he IS the MVP of that game. Everyone should give him some love.

Let me explain for those new to football. The QB almost always gets an outsized portion of both the credit and blame in any given game. Don’t worry about Nate the great as he is nearing a big NFL contract
