I figure what you are seeing now is the big names that were tampered with and offered big money going to the highest bidder and committing early. I figure some players are going back home and are committing closer home and then there are those players that want to make the best decision for themselves waiting till they talk to all schools. We seem to be after the ones waiting.

The type of players Clemson is going after are ones being recruited by other major programs. These players are soaking in the official visits, talking playing time, NIL deals and weighing them with other variables.
So there isn't going to be a fast and swift decision from them. Likely decisions before Christmas and as spots get taken up, but for many, its about soaking it all in.

Yea, it's as if we just fail to tamper with players before they hit the portal. Then we want the guys to actually come visit us before we give them the money. We are so out of step.
