But it’s only a quad 2 loss and Wake Forest also lost today, so if Clemson can beat Wake, we get the double bye in the ACC Tournament. Also this loss does NOT put Clemson out of the NCAA tourney despite what the basketball experts on TNET say

The expert bracket pickers have had us as a 5 seed for weeks. Last year no one had us in.

They didn’t “have” us as a 5 seed. They projected us as a five seed assuming that we would finish out our schedule in good fashion. Had we lost 5 or 6 games down the stretch, that seeding projection would have dropped, and possibly kept us out altogether.
I believe that the 20th win solidified a NCAAT bid for us, especially with the quality wins we’ve had. But rest assured, if we lose to Syracuse, Wake, and the first round of the ACCT, thus finishing with 4 straight losses, we AIN’T gonna be a five seed. (Sorry, Dr. Locklear.)

We got to beat cuse too since they are technically the 5 seed right now with wake losing. But we are still 4 th so just got take care of business next 2 games and we lock up the double bye.

At Wake will be really tough. They do not lose at home.1-1 is more likely senario.
