but with Wright probably coming back, that wasn’t likely. Also, he did not give Backich or any of the staff the opportunity to talk with him about staying at Clemson. He announced he was transferring and that was it.

Hard to know what is true and what is rumor. The 3rd base angle could have legs. Regardless, if he left without communicating with the staff, that's the move of a spoiled kid pitching a fit...bush league.

Maybe my info is wrong but heard from someone inside AD that Coach Bakich flew up to Cape Cod league to talk to him. Whatever....fact is he is gone

Frankly, I don't care what the reason is. If he can't work out his issue and did not discuss it with anyone, then good riddance. Seems really childish ...... maybe he is spoiled ....... or maybe he did have a good reason ..... but sure does not seem to have handled it very well.
