I don't know about others, but I always choose the correct board when I post a topic. Where it goes from there, I have no control over it. When I go to post a topic, it will not post without my selecting a board. I ALWAYS chose the correct board.
So, I think you may need to address your complaint to Bmeist.

It only forces you to select a board on mobile version. The full site defaults to Football without you clicking anything.
