The whole family thing worked when Dabo was an up and coming coach.
When you reach the top and become and NFL factory like we WERE, it's now time to put up or shut up.

If you don't understand that "family" means so much more than the coaching staff, then you are just as brain dead as the anonymous ACC coach.

Tell us you don’t understand what you read without telling us you don’t understand what you read. We have a group of fans that have yet to realize the 2015-2020 era is gone. Hiring bad coaches from within, refusing to adapt to the unfortunate realities of the portal, and nepotism have set the program a step or so backwards. This season is going to be so interesting to see unfold. After last season Dabo bit his tongue and fired his buddy OC, my guess is after this season, he may bite his tongue and bring in reinforcements from the portal. FSU at Clemson is huge. A battle of the old way versus the new way. Hope we win!

When the rules of the game change you either adapt or get left behind. This is true in all industry. College sports are now an industry. Dabo will either change the way he constructs his teams or he will not win Natty's. Then the same people that praise him on here will call for his head. Those are facts!!!

Nobody knows what went on between Streeter and Dabo after the season and how Streeter responded to Dabo's evaluations. May have been resistant and inappropriately defensive or negative. If so, Dabo had no choice but to act and to do so decisively. Stop making assumptions without knowing the facts. Dabo will never act without good reason and it may never come out all that happened.

How else would he have had the discussions with Riley and everything lined up to make the switch right after the bowl game and the natty game?
That Scar game was the one that made up his mind. Streeter should have benched DJ and ran the ball more. And whoever came up with that trick play on the return should have been on the hot seat too. Self inflicted wounds like that from unforced errors deserve serious scrutiny. Dabo gave it to them after that game too.

Yeah right, the family thing now means nothing even though EVERY recruit mentions it in practically every interview you read from them. It is still a significant advantage and adds to a great overall story. Facilities and PAW Journey are close seconds. Once we start seeing a little more success on the field, it will matter even that much more.
