There aren’t many problems with this team

So many are able to point to 10 wins right now as a positive because it is. In fact, I believe there are only 3 major issues but before I even suggest the obvious I would like to speak on the good.

Offense: Running Back A+
Shipley, Mafa, Pace are all great running backs. Could we do better? Perhaps. Perhaps we are forced to rely on the running game to the point it cannot shine as it otherwise would.

Defense: A+
Everyone is allowed to have a bad game. Yesterday wasn’t one. Rattler was on and this defense needed to offense to step up and score. I would have to credit them for many of the 10 wins we did get this year and I see no reason to make a change.

Special teams: B-
Potter is a pro. Punting is just so sad it brings this group down. We’re not bad at kickoff returns but we ain’t that good either. Blocked punts etc we are just average but Potter elevates this squad to a solid B- in spite of.

Dabo: A
We now see Dabos flaw. Loyalty and being a good man. It’s not a character flaw and in fact is a positive, but as a head coach or CEO it may not be the best for winning. Still happy with Dabo and wish for him to step up and do what I know he would hate to do.

Offense: Coordinator D
Play calling without imagination best describes what we have witnessed all year long. Inability to adjust to the defensive strategy and calling a Razzle Dazzle during the middle 8 reeks of desperation and puts you in Pee wee category. We should all wish this weren’t so but it is. Not sure what’s going on at QB because we’ve only seen the same thing over and over at nauseam but this is something that must change.

So in summary all that really needs to Change at Clemson is for Dabo to do what will hurt him as bad as it will the 2 other issues and we would have a ball team again.

You’re right that the running backs have been a positive but they have been putting the ball on the ground all season including yesterday in that ridiculous return after the safety

my 2 cents:
turnovers have been an issue in multiple games
defensive secondary has been suspect much of the time teams have figured out to beat us, force us to pass

Agree with most. Defense was a c at best though. Underperformed all year. Dabo was not an A this year. Failure to recognize mediocrity on offense and doing nothing about it. C at best.
