Commissioner sounds like he has no idea what to do. Hearing CW was a good move is so laughable. The only people that think leaving the ACC isn't the best, and ONLY move probably prefer flip phones to smartphones.

But the CW arrangement is good for exposure, not more $$. CW is a nationwide distributed channel and carried by most TV packages. So more second tier ACC packages will now be seen and that is a good thing.

The conference is not a joke and if you listened to him, he made a lot of sense. He inherited a very difficult situation of which he had no doing, but I like many of the things he said. He referred to chasing a number versus chasing excellence in all athletics and academics. He fully understands the situation and it would be my hope that he can figure out a way to keep the conference together and narrow the "figure" gap with the SEC and Big.
Tell me why you think it is a joke. I hope you realize the conference is more than football ....... something the other colleges will realize when their softball team has to fly across the country every other weekend.

This is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT about football. So yes, the conference in this discussion is about football. Period. Its the driver of ALL of this. Every last bit. And the money figures matter, A LOT. If the league is not competitive financially, eventually it will not be competitive athletically. Some of you fail to grasp this very simple concept.
