Uh, we can pay players now (NIL) so given that change in college athletics, I see no reason NOT to hire Will Wade. I think he'd jump at the chance. If nothing else, a conversation should be had.

Just because something is legal now doesn’t suddenly absolve him of past actions. When someone doesn’t have integrity, that tends to creep up in other ways.

I hope there’s a coach out there who can win at Clemson without that type of baggage.

Does anyone know what happened to GregMarshall who coached at Winthrop for a few years then went to Witchita State and was fired for some sort of sexual misconduct? Not that Clemson would hire him, but he seemed like a good coach.

I can tell you from personal experience that Gregg Marshall is a first-class turd who is a sound x-and-o guy but a pompous #### that the fan base will grow to hate even if he takes us to ten straight tournaments. That arrogance is not hidden to players and recruits. He's not a "good guy" in the sport, treats people poorly, and will cut any corner to win. Glad to see him gone.
