It starts in the OL. If we are as good there as we have been hearing and if the WR room really is as much improved, look out. FSU comes at the right point. We will have 3 games of really getting the team to gel and work together. In the past, Clemson has improved as the year went along. Last year, we fell apart late, but I think we have the depth at all the positions to really do well if Klubnik performs as we hope and stays healthy.

Has there been any talk of getting Tyler Brown involved in the kick return game? Everyone keeps raving about his speed so it would make sense to me.

It all starts up front. Just praying for NO injuries before Dook.

Has anybody talked about the need to have Klubnick and Hunter Helms pull sometime at free Safety or OLB. Also gettin Peter Woods sometime at QB and kick return should be a big plus!

Encouraging. I guess former player = E-Mac.***

I was thinking the same, but now I'm not so sure. Mr. Hood does a good job of keeping his sources confidential, so we will never know.

We hear coach speak all the time, but little nuggets like "...most I've gotten out of him since 2018..." speaks volumes (to me anyway).

Go Tigers.

Nah, probably not E-Mac. But, close.

IDK who it is.
But, I like their assessment of the OL so far. I feel like if you have played, coached, and watched football long enough you know at least one thing: "nothing like a young player learning under fire to shape and mold them"! The last two years we have been forced to play a lot of youth on the OL; now we have a bit of a core group that has a ton of snaps under their belt. One would think by sheer default and repetitiveness - "they would get better and they have"! I am excited to see the growth of this OL. Big thing; I believe everyone keeps missing is, we will be playing faster! The rules have made it more even for defenses, but tempo still tires out big and burley DL. We got away from it and it hurt us i.m.o. We are going to reintroduce opponents to our brand of tempo whilst it is bound with an experienced OL. It's hard for me to see how that won't be outstanding for us. This OL also goes against some dudes that will be in the NFL soon! Which should serve to make them that much tougher! If all that isn't enough: throw in the fact the scheme change will help b/c the QB won't have to know quantum physics in order to know where the ball needs to go. Same thing for the WRs - it should be quicker and give the players more ability to: "just use their natural athleticism and go make plays"!

My only concern is DE depth. LB depth to a lesser degree, because I like the players behind Carter and Trotter and Woodaz. They are just young and need experience. I love our Safety depth. This might be the deepest we have been at Safety since Dabo took over. Someone tell me when we were deeper at Safety in the Dabo era.

Dabo has said it at least 7 times in recent interviews; "we will have to have some good fortune and not have any significant injuries. If we don't this group can do some special things"! I agree 100% with that.
Looking forward to opening night.

Still perplexed and a bit disappointed we haven't heard buzz words and rave reviews about Randall... or beaux for that matter. No talk or nuggets about Ronan or Noble. Great that true freshman has tons of speed. Does that translate into route running and knowing the plays. Dunno. Guess we'll find out.

I actually think we've heard a ton about Randall and about Beaux. What articles are you reading?

Now the question is do we have receipts on DHood saying those things about the OL the last two years preseason or is this a bit of revisionist history and it was actually similar talking points to what we're hearing this year? I only remember hearing about "the potential" and the "raw talent" of our OL the last 2 years but I could be wrong.
