to come in and contribute right away. if not its going to be more of the same. line can play better but with inconsistent wr play teams will just stack the box like last year because outside of brown there is no wr on the team at the moment that puts fear into a defense.

Article reported that Dabo said Wesco is a mid-year enrollee. Moore will arrive in the summer.

We need to stay healthy at WR and we will be fine.
Downfield passing with Cade, stay away from the RPO’s all the time, just use occasionally.
We have the vertical receivers, use them!

Just curious what you saw in the 23 offense as far as skill position that leads u to believe we will be fine? This looked like the slowest group of offensive players Dabo has had yet and history shows he is hesitant to insert Freshman into key roles at least till midseason of the Freshman year. Outside of one of the guys being a Sammy Watkins type player, we’ll go into the UGA game with less weapons than we had against South Carolina after losing portal guys

Fact, we haven't had any Tee Higgins, Sammy Watkins, or Nuk type WRs since Jeff Scott left to become a HC, but, we have had talent at WR. IMO, if we have had another WR coach that could recruit and develop WRs the way that Jeff Scott could, we would have been OK at the WR position. IMHO, I'm absolutely positive that the lack of experience with WR coaching and development, plus the injuries is the reason that we've looked so terrible at WR. Also, with the game still being a little to fast for Cade hasn't helped our WR success either. Just my opinion, and I believe that a lot of Tiger nation will agree!!!

It all may come together for our WR unit if Wesco develops quickly during Spring and Summer, and is truly ready to get priority snaps starting with game 1.
I hope that our entire TE unit (not just Briningstool, but also Sapp, Dixon, and Patt-Henry) are ready to be consistent pass catchers and much improved blockers by the start of 2024 season.
For OL, my biggest worry is who will start at Center. P.Howard? Linthicum? Harris Sewell maybe getting a shot at Center? This position must be ready for solid play; if that doesn’t happen, then we will struggle yet again on offense.

@outlaw1081 ..what do you mean we will go into the UGA game with less weapons? We got an offense full of " ballers, grinders....who are tough, gritty and hard-nosed ". All led by a " 5 star QB who lacks arm strength, foot speed with poor recognition skills, who has a tendency to play hero ball and plays like a deer in the headlights. The offense was so good in the 2023 season that we will be playing in a " Gator Bowl playoff games against Kentucky ". With all of this going for it who needs to look in the portal for offensive position upgrades? Just look down the roster and find a "baller who is a tough hard nosed gritty grinder ".🤣🤣🤣🤣

First of all, I hope that Tiger nation isn't expecting Matt Luke to perform a miracle with our O Line in just his 1st season bc he isn't God, and only God can award miracles.
I say minor improvements can be expected during his first season, but it will take him a couple/few seasons to turn our O line into something special through recruiting, and hopefully by getting lucky with a portal guy as often as possible!!!

Never heard Dabo describe guys as "dirtbags" and that being a positive attribute. I like it. I'm going to start doing that more often.
