Junior? Any way you look at it, he was supposed to be the #1 center in the nation coming out of high school, he has to be considered a recruiting bust. I hope he sees this post, it makes him mad enough to push away from the training buffet, and get after it. Who knows, he may be one of the guys that Matt Luke woke up when he got here, hope so!

David the first thing that I would like to get an answer to if you don't mind answering it is this, I have always thought, or was under the impression that true freshman guys wasn't allowed to give interviews until they had actually played in a live scheduled FB game.
The next thing that I have wondered a lot about was with the true freshman TE Christian Bentancur. There had been a lot talk of when he was being recruited of how successful he had been at the HS level, and he was probably one of the better TE'S the coaches had brought in since Jordan Leggett. Since the 2024 recruiting class has been sign and that recruiting class is now officially Clemson Tigers, I don't think there has been another word spoken about the highly rated TE Christian Bentancur. There has been plenty of talk about highly rated O lineman, D lineman, LBs, CBs, safeties, WRs, even kickers, but still not a peep about the highly rated TE that has been needed to fill what seems to be an important position in a Garrett Riley offense as the TEs. Did TE Christian Bentancur leave, quit, what happen with him that has caused his name not to be talked about, has the coaches lost interest in him, I mean why hasn't his name been mentioned since he signed with our team?

I don’t think he’s being ignored so much as the focus is just elsewhere. The TE room has a clear cut starter with promising flashes of talent sitting behind him. LB room we are thin so there’s a lot of talk about the all world athletes we just brought in in Brown. WR room lacks talent, so there’s a lot of focus on the two top flight guys we recruited.

Football is finally back!!! We could be seeing a resurgence of great Tiger play this year. The Georgia game will tell a lot about where we stand with the football powers.

Last year, I was anxious to see the DT from Alabama, Woods. This year, I am anxious to see the LB from Georgia, Sammy. The dude is big and fast.

Whichever coach recruits Georgia high school kids is doing a great job. They may not have regions anymore but we usually do well when we get those recruits out of smelly dawg country.
