Actually not a bad choice for BC. Should help.
He did a good job in Houston, until the end. Like Spurrier……. No tricks left!
Outperformed his talent most years. Lacked the talent on the field to go deep in the playoffs.

This could prove to be a good decision for BC. If he can recruit well, BC should be much better.

He might be able to make them better and provide some positive momentum for the next guy.
I’d require him to hire a really good assistant who has been identified as a likely successor.

I think that's a pretty big hire for them even though O'Brien hasn't exactly had top end success anywhere he's been. Not a huge surprise though. BC has certainly had their moments in their history and they obviously want to get back to that.

At BC. He's gonna get alot of rope....as long as he can maximize what he gets out of the players he'll have (like he did @ Penn State having to navigate the post-Paterno penalties), then he's gonna be a successful hire for the Eagles.

I don’t give a rip about Ohio state, but they dodged a bullet with this guy. He’s not a good OC or a good coach in general. He’s also a pOS of a person.
