38th in opposing points average this year, which is labeled as scoring defense by the NCAA but also includes pick-sixes and fumble returns for the other defense -- any scoring the other team has. So not bad at all given that there have been opposing defensive TDs and turnovers that have put the defense in bad spots multiple times this year.

Give Coach Wes G. credit with some of his schemes. That one where he put Trotter over the nose Guard and spread out wide the tackles and DE, was brilliant in that situation. Trotter just stayed in his spot so Maye could not rush the middle but with the pocket squeezing quickly from that formation he had to step up right into Trotter. They should call that play the Falcon or Jet plane because from above it probably looks like an attacking Falcon or a shape of jet or a wide V shape.

I agree wholeheartedly. That defensive line formation in which Trotter got that sack was brilliant.
