Well, there is one thing. Tomorrow morning, Dabo will wake as Dabo Swinney. Kirby Smart will wake up as Kirby Smart. I think Dabo gets the better end of that deal every morning.

Many people are going to look pretty stupid over the next five years. When he does what he’s going to do, and all those “Tyler’s from Spartanburg” begin saying, “We love you Coach! We supported you the whole time. We just wanted to motivate you. We love you! Please stay!” I hope he then goes to some bottom feeder, plays Clemson often, and beats them like a drum. And, all the Tyler’s will then wallow in misery while they disparage Coach all the more.
No one destroys Clemson football like “Clemson fans.” It’s pathetic, but it is predictable.

the fans do not make hires and what not. as a fan im not expected to lick dabos taint clean at every turn. this isnt just about this year this is about the past four years of a decline. if he leaves because the fans arent licking his taint clean then it says more about his ego than any fan.

Georgia has historically owned Clemson but Clemson fans could lord the recent national championships over UGA. Gone are the 1980 jokes, references to Kirby not winning the big one, UGA doing more with less. Kirby said nothing negative about Dabo or Clemson in this remark. Still, look at how it's received. If UGA were 5-4 and coming off to mid-tier bowl wins, no one would posts about this.
