And give the Lord thanks for seeing us through another week on an ever increasingly torn earth. Manmade disasters, NATURAL disasters (earthquakes) make some wonder about the End Times. But, the Good Book says "No man shall know the time", so I don't waste mine worrying about that.

Instead, I revel in simple pleasures. Clemson softball and Clemson baseball both won yesterday. And, Clemson won the Spring Football game! :) Now, the hand wringers predict gloom and doom after watching it. I predict that we are going to be STACKED on defense, even better than last year. And on offense, the hand wringers need to remember that most of the weapons didn't even play, either due to injury, or being held out by coaches just for safety reasons. And, more help is on the way in the receiver corps that hasn't even touched campus yet.

Frankly, I would have been more concerned if the offense ran all over the defense. They face each other in practice every day, so historically, the defenses are ahead in Spring Games. Also, especially this year, the coaches were not going to give away much of the offense so that Georgia could have decent, recent film to study. I applaud that.

God is good and Jesus is our king! You are right in that no man will know the date or the time, but those who diligently seek the Lord will indeed know the season. Be prepared always. Have a blessed day.

I take heart that while we rest we can still be continually bombarded by eclipse info we've already heard for the last 2 months. They just play it over and over. Make it stop!!!!
