It's gonna be a pick fest. Barnes and Terrell have brought back the no fly zone and TJ Parker is going to be in Carson Beck's nightmares all season long.

If...CK makes a big leap in year two of Riley's offense, and the oline blocks better, and a receiver or two emerge as a threat, Clemson will have a shot against the Dawgs. If those things don't happen, it's may get ugly for the Tigers and no big win against Bama from 5 years ago is going to matter.

The last time these 2 teams played a season opener just a couple of years ago, the final score was 10-3 and there were no offensive TDs. Why would you think WR play would be a big factor? These games, especially early in the season, have alway been defensive battles.

Not sure what you mean by "these games...played early." Georgia vs Clemson? The last game was close but the two before that, both played during August, was 38-35 (2013 Clemson) and 45-21 (2014 Georgia). Those are exactly defensive battles.
