is quite different than challenging the GoR contract and exit fees.

The whole thing may be a stalking horse to try to get ACC schools upset enough to have 8 member schools together vote to dissolve the ACC. If that happens, there is no ACC, no GoR and no media contract.

Then all ACC schools would be free to either join another conference (provided they are invited) or construct another conference with the same (or more) teams and negotiate a new media rights contract.

Well, it's the simplest way to get the needed change. I nsuspect that Clemson and FSU lawyers realize that the law suits are a long shot, but if they can stir the pot enough to rbing the issue to the atten tion of the public and alumni elements of all the schools involv ed, a ground swell might be constructed that brings the schools to a vote...... just a li'l community organizing!

The suits arent longshots....but we good regardless. This is just meant to lower the pain on exit.

THERE IS NO REALITY WHERE CLEMSON OR FSU STAY IN ACC UNTIL 2036. Its too toxic...even now.

Nothing that has transpired has been a surprise to Clemson...NOTHING.

It may take some time, but thats OK.....

I think this will all end in an agreed upon settlement. Maybe pay a 100 million exit fee and keep your GOR type of agreement.

Thats why the acc was so adamant about getting these 3
