UGA LB in portal

UGA’s best LB entered the portal last night. Pre-season first team all American at inside linebacker. With Shaw going to Arky and Trotter off to the league wouldn’t this be a no brainer move to go after him? He’ll be a senior and will probably go to the draft after next season. Sammy Brown would still get reps but could learn from a seasoned vet for a year

snag much lower profile O-LINE guys from the Portal, good luck on getting one of the HIGHEST profile guys. Some of you seem to think the Portal is just a vending machine, and all we have to do is put our nickels in, and press a couple of buttons, and a player will just drop out of there to us. Going after, and getting shut out, on SEVERAL players this time around ought to have opened some eyes as to how it REALLY works, but apparently not.

It's not like Shaw committed to the Tigers and now you can add Auburn and Bama into the mix. By this weekend UGA may show up at his house with a new truck and bag of money.

I don’t think Dabo is doing the portal. I’m not saying that because I want that to be the case. I hope I’m wrong, but I think Dabo has dug in deep on this. Just a vibe I’m getting. If I’m wrong I’ll be thrilled.

If he's their best linebacker and declared free agency then I would imagine he's going to cost somebody a small fortune to get.
