Momemtum. Pretty sure we will beat Notre Dame or UNC. This team has the talent and they will show it at some point just to confuse the issue.

I’m not convinced that Garrett Riley is the guru that everyone thought he was. Good years at SMU doesn’t mean that much and TCU’s quarterback may have carried Garrett last year.

Shipley and Mafah look great at times but as good as they are touted to be, they aren’t game changers like we use to have (and this game they didn’t have much going.

Cade might get better with time and be great, but right now he is moderately good.

Defense is baffling. One bust for a quick seven, then nothing for two quarters, followed by ten in the fourth. My biggest concern is that teams seem to be able to keep our defense off of their QB. I don’t remember seeing so many missed tackles as I feel like i’ve seen this year.

Maybe something finally clicks soon and we begin to be the team that was ranked ninth to start the year but for now I think this team can lose the remaining five games if they continue to turnover the ball like they do and if the defense can’t shake up the opposing quarterback.

Who knows, this team is still seemingly trying to figure out what it does well.

It will show that this team can play at a high level but we are inconsistant and when we ought to win then we lose and when we should lose we will win. UVA did that tonight.

Me too. That comment is bizarre. Based on what? The performance we’ve seen on the field or Dabo’s comments and assessments that are about as useful as toilet paper?

I want to be optimistic but this team hasn't shown me any improvements this year. And I think we all may just have to accept that we are who we are and that is that we are a team that's going to have to fight to become bowl eligible possibly. But there is nothing that will happen in the off-season that will give me hope things will be magically different next year since this has been 3 consecutive years of trash offense now. Time to fire a few assistants and really truly change things around the program because I can't watch a 4th straight year of non-existent offense with the amount of talent we have and money being thrown around to these coaches. Genuinely feels like I'm torturing myself getting my hopes up that we finally figure everything out and become competent again offensively, only to continue what we have been doing or worse.

I seriously question the elite talent part. Every team we play seems to be faster at every position. I think we have just read it over and over and begin to believe it. I’m not sure we have anyone who would start on a top 10 team.

Speed kills and we have no speedy players like in the recent past. We also don’t have the the fire from players like we had. You see Shipley trying to be that way but no one is responding. I don’t see any leadership really as good as we had it. I don’t think it is weird. We just are not as good as we were 5 years ago.

UVA just beat UNC. You don’t have to have elite talent to beat an ACC team. Just don’t make a ton of mistakes like we do every week
