The defense has been so soft since Venables has left, and it doesn't appear Goodwin will figure it out in season 2.

The S woke up tonight but there were some folks out of place that worked to Dukes advantage. I will say I was not impressed with our tackling.

Wes is not the answer. I like the guy, but with all that talent he’s just not getting it done. There’s a reason no team has hired him as the DC & only used him as an analyst.

The defense will take on the personality of their coach. Wes is way too timid and soft-spoken. And the guys played soft and missed a few key tackles that would have kept us in the game. He needs to go too.

Goodwin’s DL didn’t maintain containment, the LB’s blitzes were not disguised & easily picked up. Wes is pathetic… he came in & said no exotic blitzes, gotta strip the playbook down. It looks stripped down so that opposing OL’s love it. He sucks, plain & simple!
