That would depend on what scheme he transfers to.
Also don't think he transfers. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cade do exactly what you're saying though.

I have zero doubt DJ transfers, idc what anyone says under the right system DJ would thrive. I don’t see Cade transferring but wouldn’t blame him either.

He could. I actually think our oline held up pretty good last night. I'm convinced its the play calling and I'm not sure what film we watched on nd but it was the wrong one.
If you're going to run between the tackles, Mafah, not Ship should be in there and running a 2 back set to bounce Shipley outside.
We discussed last week that ND has too many atheletes to run a horizontal pass game. They do really well setting the edge and maintaining leverage.
Last night, no quick slants to get into 2 and 3 or 2 and 5. Not until late game did we attempt to use the middle of the field. Where were the curls with bringinstool sitting down 10-15 yards in the zone... These are passes you can throw in 40 mph winds. Where was rolling out DJ to his right and hitting ship on a naked screen if the D overpursued DJ rolling out. These are simple plays, especially in the wind. Ghesh this game didn't have to happen the way it did.
Also, what happened during the bye week to look internal? Didn't appear to be any self scouting by the coaches.

All DJ needs is an up tempo offense with less time to get in his own way, just go back and watch the difference when he’s in a two minute offense.
