It will mean no coaching change.
Maybe the guy was kept around too long, but maybe has improved his game on our dollar. The team will be different next year, but he did bring in this team, so hope is there.

Yes he will be retained with a raise and extension. He will lose a ton of talent from his Best Team Ever. Will suck again for a couple of years, then when the chatter heats up about firing him, he will again do just enough to keep his job. Won't win the ACC or anything like that, but just enough to hang on and milk it for more millions.

Yes, if you really wany him gone he keep winning he could get courted by new schools.

Sometimes i wonder if Coach Brownell wants to be the legacy Coach at Clemson. All coaches have egos.
