Going back to the late innings last night the offense has simply gone missing in action. I hope it is not a case of home runs or nothing.

We just aren’t doing the little things right at the plate and it’s showing up bc we aren’t scoring 8-10 runs. We are watching WAY too many early count fastballs down the middle and getting behind which I don’t understand at all why we did that for 9 innings tonight , that’s not the mentality we usually have at the plate… the obvious fielding sloppiness and just another quick example is when you have 1st and 3nd no outs you can’t watch fastballs and strikeout without putting a decent AB together to try to get the runners over with less than 2 outs… just aren’t doing the small things very well at all right now… hopefully that changes starting tomorrow.
