Why is no one talking about our new OL coach?

You guys happy or not or meh?
I think it’s great as long as the guy has fire in the belly to put in the time. I’d like to know what’s behind him leaving the dawgs to spen time with family…did he have a fallout with Kirby?

home run hire, dont see too many better realistic alternatives. He must be a great OL coach no matter which way you look at it.

He wanted to spend more time with his family and Dabo easily sold him to come coach at Clemson because we’re big on family. Dabo allows the wife’s and kids of coaches to be in and around the program very heavily. That was an easy sell to Matt Luke. He can have the job he loves but also include his wife and kids unlike Kirby would allow at Georgia. GO TIGERS!!!!

There are those time that a position can never see eye to eye with their HC, and they need a good legit sounding reason to take yourself out of the situation that you feel that you just can't tolerate them any longer and gather their thing and go home. Kirby Smart seems to me like he would be a turd to work for, then again maybe he's not. I'm just glad we have a D line coach that is proven with tons of experience, and I really don't have any concerns of why he left Georgia....

of hiring inexperienced and unqualified position coaches by bringing on guys with significant experience.
Luke has been coaching a long time, including power 5 programs and in the NFL. He’s the kind of hire I expect from a program with our history of high level success and our currently unfulfilled potential.
This seems to be a very good hire.
