Sports starts with SCAR Womens basketball and then mens and then oh yeah, Clemson won the National Championship in soccer.
If it been SCAR it would have been the lead story - tonight and for 2 weeks.

Like Me I'm assuming you live hear in cootlumbis also, and you are 1000% correct. News in cootlumbia absolutely hates reporting anything good about Clemson, but let something come up like BV leaving, and they will preach it to these chickens for weeks as a lead story!!!!

after being SCUs coach for 3 days. Friends say it was classic. News anchors, not just sports, were whining and practically crying on the air while saying he can't do that!

I don't know about that... WLTX and WOLO were UHF and looked like public access cable channels in comparison to WIS, especially back in the days of Ed Carter, Susan Aude, Joe Pinner, and Joe Daggett. Hard to even remember a on-air name from WLTX or WOLO

studio in the early days. Seems like they put up a curtain or something...nothing like you see now.
Dave Aiken was around a long time, also.
What I remember the most were the days of Herman Helms, Sports Editor at "The State," whom I knew, and who gave no quarters to the Carolina sports' powers-that-be, usually via his scathing columns. Had he been around when Spurrier had that set-to with the paper, Helms would have told Spurrier where to go in a skinny minute...then launched a nuclear attack in print! lol

have evolved into the second-leading Coot outlet behind WOLO, the ABC channel, which is eat up in Cootism.
I know it's Columbia, but for God's sake, the yingyangs fail to understand there are thousands and thousands of Clemson alumni and fans in the Midlands with a healthy dose being business owners...you know, PEOPLE WHO SPEND MEGABUCKS ON ADVERTISING, YOU ABJECT MORONS!

Never liked the Columbia area stations. The upstate and Charleston stations put out a much better news product.
