Well that’s a huge blow I seriously didn’t expect. Glad we have some other good corners, but he really is one of our best. Was ranked a top 20 CB in the country recently.
I might want to see Dabo but the portal here. We’ve got other guys, but guys like Pride haven’t shown as much as Wiggins and Jones. And guys like Terrell are true freshman.
But hooping the best for him. I don’t really understand what the motive is, but maybe it could’ve been money elsewhere. But no assumptions made.

Yep and he goes all out, made some freshman mistakes last year but I think this is going to be one of our better secondary’s this year

You’re all correct, he hasn’t had much impact. But he’s still been good for us and has ability. Harder to lose him than have him.

We are going to lose players we are over scholarship limits and we are loaded on the defense with these Freshman. Gonna have to understand these aren’t regular freshman they came to compete early. Guarantee this isn’t a surprise to Dabo

Let's do some math. Add up:
* personal issues
* injury issues
* being part of the defensive backfield that gave up more yards in the air than we gained on offense EIGHT times including 360 to our rivals
* getting outworked and outproduced in the spring
While the arguments can be made for "he gives us depth" and "he knows our system," let's face it: he's no Derion Kendrick. I won't lose sleep tonight because he won't be playing for us in 2023.
And to my third point, as much as we can remove ourselves from looking like the Swiss cheese pass defense, particularly against USuC and Wake Forest, the happier I am. May the young guys learn to defend better, may the injured guys get better, and if you weren't part of either of those groups, then step aside and let one of these talented newcomers take your snaps. I think that's exactly what Greene is doing.
He'll be fine. We'll be fine. As far as the scholly issue, I wasn't worried about that. We'll get there. It'll be fine.

You should likely learn our depth chart and talent. Lukas is probably our overall most talented CB, Lewis is way ahead of schedule. Barnes was probably the most underrated prospect in the entire class by all services since they didn’t know where he would play. Losing Greene is barely different than losing Ajou Ajou. I understand creating topics, but create them in practical and logical ways. Maybe “who moves up the depth chart” or “does anyone we were planning on redshirting now have a bigger role”. But acting like this is a huge and devastating loss is just inaccurate and not even a good discussion point.
