The HUMMERS are back...in SAV, Ga!!!!

We had been watching for a week with our feeder hung and filled with delicious sugar water..

and this morning we were delighted to see our 1st little helicopter-like hummingbird drinking up his needed energy liquid after a presumingly long flight from maybe a Caribbean region.

my neck before while sitting in the woods turkey hunting in early April. I thought a purple martin was going to land on my head one day last week while standing on my pier fishing.

I don't feed them any more. Bears were getting more nectar than the hummers.Destroyed the feeder and pole.

We had our first one on Monday. As most of you know, hummers don't like each other. They fight more than the gangs of Chicago and New York.
