Recruiting almost needs to go to 2 tiers.

Example, RB.
T1 - impact players, high level recruits
T2 - players who are serviceable who will stay with the program.

People now screaming for Dabo to hit the portal for RB. And certainly that should be looked at. But what great RB is going to come to be 3rd string? Without injury, they will get few touches. Do they come expecting injury? Maybe I guess.

Agreed.

Getting a bunch of 4* and 5* at the same position guarantees exit via Transfer Portal.

I would rather have a serviceable 3* behind a 5* starter than a 5* behind a 5*
