I get it, I may not understand but it’s not for me to understand. I passively follow recruiting because I’m ignorant and I’m too anxious. However, I remember all the buzz around Feaster committing and getting CJ Spiller’s #28. Rightfully so, he was a highly sought prospect and had received lots of attention from everybody. That’s my point, these young men are treated like Gods only to have their entire career change due to injuries and/or competition within the team. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be made to feel special but when things change, they are left feeling forgotten. I hope every single player that wants fo seek other opportunities has that chance but as a man that is “long in the tooth” I’m not sure if it’s always the best idea to leave what you know for the unknown. Best of luck to this young man, I’ve enjoyed watching him and want only the best for him. Unlike some, he did it at the right time, prior to the season. Just my thoughts.
