Nobody has said blank check. Also, so you are cool with an evil Putin taking over Ukraine? That's what will happen to Ukraine without our support and the support of the world. It's not as if we are the only ones giving. It's an international crisis. Even Japan has given 7 billion.

But what I often see on the right is the view that Russia & Ukraine are somewhat equally evil, or that Ukraine is a place where Nazism runs rampant. And in many quarters of the GOP, particularly around Trump and his tightest supporters, there's a pro-Putin view, not a view of "Putin is evil."
