Where are all of the negative posts about our s&c coach. Did we get a new one? Sure seems that way this year. I guess our bowl game changed some minds.

why would the bowl game change minds about S&C? Our conditioning has usually been pretty good. Our D got a little gassed against scar and fsu, but there wasn't much help from the Offense..that's to be expected.

The functional strength and explosiveness has been rightly questioned over the years. There has clearly been a problem with how our guys have developed physically. There are plenty of examples we could rehash.

Seems things are changing. Training table, S&C assistant Hogan, some new methods...it all adds up. Some guys showed some good growth today. Some guys were a little disappointing. If you credit the S&C with the good ones, have to hold them accountable for the bad ones.

Either way, the bowl game had nothing to do with an educated discussion of the S&C program. It basically showed that our O was better conditioned than their D.

I think we all wanted VBeasley to be heavier...although there is debate over whether they said 232 or 242. It wouldn't have been a bad thing for him to be carrying some fat heading into camp. The weight gain we wanted would have required some fat.

Some of the chronic fat boys on the OL..

I know we would have liked Hopper to have put a little more lead in his a$$.


nothing too bad. Overall, it was a positive. Some of those man ##### were tough to look at, though.
