It’s pretty cool, but wow are we fortunate to have Clemson.
Sac State has an actual campus, it’s on the American River, but is a commuter school, so it feels small.
It’s freaking 30k + undergrads!!!!

He was moving into the ball when it was waist to shin guard. Thats an out if I'm not mistaken. He's tough but he never once tried to move out of the way. I might not be up on rules but I don't think u can intentionally move into a pitch to get hit. Alot of hbp there! +1 for find! Ty

Rule states you can't lean into a pitch, but you do NOT have to make any attempt to move. Essentially if the pitch is in the batter's box, you can just stand there and wear it. It was the kids first two college games, so it's not like he was some feared hitter. One time the bases were loaded so it was an RBI. Makes zero since if it was intentional. It was very weird.

No doubt. Hbp if ump thinks the batter is leaning on purpose could be a strike i guess. I guess that the batters normal swing when he brings his front foot 3 ft across the box.
Still the pitches were def balls.
On base percentage is really good for that game!!! 100%

is no way that was not intentional, they are all the same exact type of plunk, down low on the legs. And, the pitches never started anywhere else BUT right at the batter. Poor umpiring allowing this to happen with no repercussions.

The third one somehow bounced up and hit the catcher in the nuts too. The fourth one looked like the catcher turned around and laughed with his mask pulled up. They were throwing into the middle of the batters box for the last three. Just watch how far across the body the pitchers arm goes. Umps had to be in on it to not toss guys.
