Ellington had only one carry in 2nd half after averaging 6.1

yds. in first half - Morris admits he has to get both of them more touches in both halves at bowl game. At least, he is knowledgable and expect him to carry through - need ball control, more running, more play action passes, fewer but more effective long passes. And please keep Boyd out of pocket most of game! And keep defense off field more. WIN CU FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR for us!

We normally get Sammy the ball on screens and slants and jet sweeps to both take pressure off of Tajh and the OL and to get CBs to get a bit jumpy so we can hit them with a double move later on. We did NONE of that. The Flanker Screen in particular is our bread and butter and we normally throw that at least 5 times in the early parts of the game to get Tajh in a groove and the O clicking. I still don't have any idea what Morris's game plan was but it failed, horrendously.

SC played a 3-2-6 defense most of the game, which pretty much takes away the screens, jet sweeps, etc. because there are 6 db's protecting the outside. this defensive setup dares you to run inside. & LSU will do the same.

They probably would have had more if the defense wasn't so hoggish and played so much. Around 40 min. I think.

the O did get in the game it didn't follow the winning game plan that worked in the past in my opinion and it seems the Opinion of many others. I have said this before it seems Morris gets bored and tries other things for no other reason then to do something different. Just my opinion

it's common knowledge and a long festering issue that Chad and Dabo have remained completely silent and never accounted for our performance in the game, including conceding the game with a punt off our 25 with two minutes left. After all other games this year (most of the wins) they always came forward, but after this game they disappeared.
