Sammy's Arrest: Different aspect.

I completely agree with everything everyone is saying about we all make mistakes and we should forgive him. I do not think we should judge Sammy (we have no right to). Saying that, it should not be taken lightly that the face of Clemson football was caught with illegal substances. People saying it isn't a big deal and that we should let it go are very mistaken. If he is not punished accordingly, then people that look up to him like young athletes will believe it is ok to do those things and not get in trouble. I love Sammy. I am behind him all the way and hope that Dabo handles this in the manner he feels fit.

Community service and fine. But will that be enough in everyone's eyes? What if he is suspended for the summer? What if he has to run stadium stairs until August? What if he is suspended 1 or 2 games? No matter what his suspension is there will be those that said not enough and those that say too much.

Firm but fair
stop to think just a minute if it were you or your son what do you think would be fair
just my 2 cents if he was not on the football team what would happen other than court, yes I know they are team rules, but not like the NCAA I know Dabo will do what is fair for Sammy, the team, the school & the fans
Don't even start with the BS of players should be held to a higher standard than anyone else
Dabo, Coaches, AD & Adm have rules and will be fair enforcing them

Together to the stadium. Put Sammy in the stands on the first row at the 50 yard line and make the players run stadium steps while Sammy watches for hrs. Once they are finished and Sammy has seen how much he has let his teammates down. Send the players home and make Sammy run steps until midnight. Let him do community service and then work on building back everyone's trust. His leash is definitely tighter.

he has the right to be judged by his peers. This isnt some ethical debt about weed like some idiot pot heads would like to make it. He broke the law. This also isnt a case between 2 people with different stories. He got busted red handed. There are no other "details" waiting to come out.

A 3 game suspension seems a fair punishment. And the next 3 games.. not this picking and choosing stuff

The thing Dabo has to be concerned about is the pill he had in his pocket (adderall) is banned substance and deemed illegal by the NCAA as an enhancement preforming drug.

life has its highs and low's Sammy is probably beating himself up right now so as a young man he'll figure it out and realize that all his hard work can be erased by one stupid mistake. Don't think we'll have to worry about another lapse in judgement.All we can do now is support him and ,put him in our prayers.
