Coming off a bye, it may take our offense a little time to get going in a game situation. With how Wake Forest was before the bye, it looked like the players just wanted to get a break. I didn’t see any desire from the offense. If the players aren’t bought in, no OC will do well.
Miami: I see this as a game that will be similar to 2009 in Miami, the Jacoby Ford OT win. This will be a back and forth game. And our offense must keep up, because their QB is a good one. I think our running game gets going and we eventually control it. Clemson 28-17.
NC State: You just know this will be a tough one to get. No matter how NC State plays or what their record is, they despise Clemson for how great we’ve been instead of them. We have earned everything they wish they could. So, they come to play the “Super Bowl” everytime they play Clemson. But Clemson 41-30.
ND: Really good team here, but of course beatable. Especially for Clemson of course. It is interesting, at this point, if it goes as I’ve predicted with 2 wins in a row against Miami and NC STATE, this team will have its full belief. And that is the one thing that other teams do not want to see. A Clemson team with full belief, motivated by Dabo, is one that is unbeatable. Therefore, Clemson 35-17. A program win.
GT: Making progress, but not there to beat Clemson who is desperate. Clemson 41-24.
UNC: I think this UNC team is the best one they’ve had. But I also just don’t think any of the ACC teams are at a level to where they “couldn’t” lose to a team like Pittsburgh or Virginia Tech. Which is good, but also sad. I think the same thing happens from the ACC Championship. Cade retains dominance on UNC. Clemson 45-30.
Coots: Obviously another tough one, but again, Clemson at this point with the wins I have predicted would be a team that could compete for a national championship. South Carolina is just not any better than last year if they are not worse. But of course, it’s the Clemson game. Will be tough, but Clemson 28-24.
I do not think Duke loses 3 games, sadly. Riley Leonard will be back sooner than anyone could have imagined. But if they do lose 3 games, and the rest of the contenders lose 2 game, we’re in.
I see an 11-2 season. Ready for a national title next year with Wesco.

So the defense has given up just over 18 points per game through the first 6. You’re thinking they give up over 23 per game on the back stretch? I’m not sure Nancy’s Tate can score 30. I’ll take the wins, regardless of the score though!

I’ll take the wins, too, no matter the point spread.

Picked Clemson to win every game. Let’s see how it plays out. I see a 4-2 finish. GT is the only one I can put in the W column at the moment.

I notice a trend behind a certain faction on this board. Does anyone else?

As much as I believe what you said is possible, I also didn't see us sitting with two losses and an awful 12-7 game against Weak Florist. Not sure what the issues are, but there is something wrong with the team

8-4 With losses to UNC and ND, should win the GT, NC State and Miami games.

I like the way you think. I would love to see the season play out that way, but they have got to find some consistency on offense to make your prediction happen. Go Tigers!!! Beat Miami!!!

I'm not spending all my hope on Duke or FSU losing a bunch of games. It's all going toward Clemson winning the rest of the year.

It is a trite saying, but looking at our remaining schedule,

we realistically could win every game, or LOSE every game, or something in between. Now, on paper we should be superior to at least Georgia Tech, but if ANY team has bedeviled Clemson over the years, it is the Pocket Protector Nerds. At least that one is at home. When strange things happen against the Bees, more often than not, they have happened in Atlanta.
We DO have to play Dave Dooshebag's Wuffies on the road at Carter Findley, though, another place that has not been all that historically kind to the Tigers. He will have his laptop patrol out, but, sorry Dave, no cigars for you, hopefully ever again.
Assuming we navigate everything as we are CAPABLE of, we will go into the Roach needing that win to reach 10. And, if THEIR season has gone to our plan, the BEST they will be doing is playing for win #6, and a trip to the Toilet Bowl. Either way, we know we will get their best shot, playing in front of all their Mother Cluckers at home in a rivalry game. Especially since this will in all probability be Garter Snake's last game in a Coot uniform. I can't see him using a Covid year to come back to that cesspool for a Super Senior season. But then again, I had no earthly idea what induced him to make Columbia his transfer home to begin with.
