Season tickets, moving to Seattle and Delta

Our daughter, her husband and two young boys moved to Seattle three years ago. She has a director's job with HBO MAX and a great future. My wife and I made the difficult decision to sell our home, move to Seattle and purchase a new home. Over four decades a member of IPTAY and season tickets for everything. But family comes first--always.
After settling in we decided to take a break and fly to Vegas for a few days. We won a little, lost a little but had a great time. Our flight back to Seattle was scheduled at 2 pm, Friday. No sooner than we entered the wait area, the Delta agent informed passengers awaiting boarding that the flight was overbooked by two and offered $600 each for the seats. We jumped at it since the next flight was only two hours later.
Just as we settled in to await the 4 pm departure, the agent informed us that the plane now had two empty seats. We boarded the plane and lost the $1,200. We buckled up and were all set to return home when the agent came down the aisle and tracked us down. The two late passengers had shown up and we had to get off and once again await the 4 pm flight and the $1,200 offered originally to two passengers. No damage done.
About thirty minutes later the agent informed us that the 4 pm flight had been canceled. Now we were scheduled to depart at 8 pm if all went well. The totally embarrassed agent offered us $1,500 each. All's well that ends well. Lot of things you can do with $3,000. The downside is that I returned home with a nasty case of covid.
Now we have two season tickets for next football season and parking in Lot 15 which is located about 75 yards from the ESSO Club. More about that later.
BTW, if you visit Vegas consider the David Copperfield Show and Love, The Beatles. You won't be disappointed.

what you should be able to get for most of your tickets, you can plan a real nice trip back for an extended weekend and a game. E-tickets can be a pain but they sure make it easy on folks in your situation to sell the ones you can't use.
When you get settled, take in the 3 Sisters Wilderness Area if you are the hiking sort. Spent 3 weeks out there a while ago and been trying to get back since.

Congrats to your daughter, condolences to you and your wife in moving to Seattle. Seattle is a dump with Portland a close second. Hope you never need the police. Both cities Mayors are clueless.
