But true CFP teams are deep... Very deep.

Georgia could have had alot of opt outs also... Why didn't they? Mainly because they did not build their program out of portal players.

They don't build the program off the portal but they selectively and strategically use it to fill gaps and add depth. They have the #1 recruiting class for 2024 and still found 4 guys they liked from the portal to make it even stronger.

This has been my argument for the portal. If GA and Bama use it then we have zero excuse not to.

GA & Bama barely use it. FSU built a team off it.

Being deep is beating a team with no opt outs when you have 2 scholarship DBs available. Youngins create depth.

Dude if Georgia was missing as many players as FSU is they wouldn't look so hot either. Don't like FSU but people are silly for thinking that this was ever going to be close.

You and others need to stop acting Iike the transfer portal makes teams worse it’s ridiculous. Clemson would have won more in the past three years with transfers on the roster

WHAT? Florida State was 5-7 two seasons ago and finished 13-0 built on transfers. Any sensible person knows that adding experienced, proven players makes your team better. That’s like saying adding 1st round picks to an NFL team doesn’t make them better.

Ridiculous take. No team can survive losing almost every starter on both sides of the ball. And the vast majority of the opt outs were not portal guys.

Shows the character of the players imo. UGA players didn’t whine and quit like FSU did. This game was a farce before it started. As a Clemson fan, I hate both teams. However I respect UGA players a lot more for simply giving a s*&$ and manning up.
