Batting .474 with 4 dingers over the last 10 games for AA Corpus Christi. But the 'stros are loaded with OF prospects. Don't be surprised to see Beer in a Cleveland Indian uniform in September.

Of the 50 games he has played in AA, he has started 42 at first base, 7 at designated hitter and 1 in left field. He won't be an outfielder for Houston.

No kidding...? I was at that game he played left field. Not impressive in the field that day, but he went 4 for 5 that game narrowly missing a home run...ended up with a ground rule double. Other Hooks games that I've been to he's played 1st or DH, and he's done pretty good at first.
