Shane Kennedy Update

Contrary to a previously posted rumor, Shane Kennedy has NOT been kicked of the baseball team. In the game against the Canadian, he rocketed the first pitch he saw down the left field line for a double. But, according to theclemsoninsider.com, he has sustained a knee injury. If it is a torn ACL as some fear, he could be lost until April, if not later. Fortunately, Clemson is very deep with infielders (and outfielders if that's where he was slated to play).

#### shame. I was looking forward to seeing him in left field this year. Here's to a speedy recovery. He should talk to Chad Kelly and Sam Cooper for some rehab advice. Shane should have been an important cog in our offense for the upcoming season. Fan, I will see you Nov. 1
