taking my mother to the game. Told her I'll pick her up after work and she asked if I was going home to change. I looked at my purple and orange Clemson shirt; sporting a Tiger Paw on the left shoulder and I said "nope", going like I am.

Why would you be so disrespectful to your niece ?
I just do not understand why people take the rivalry to such a level that they would be a complete jerk and hild complete contempt for a family member.
It is just a game and I would think my niece and her feeling and accomplishments and supporting her would be more important than proving to the world that you are some macho super cool Clemson fan.

I've gone to Clemson games, not playing usc and seen usc shirts. I don't care. My niece knows where my heart is. I pull for her and the usc softball team. It would suit me fine if they won the NCAA tournament.

We don't have a softball team. It's a tater supporting the coots in something other than failing. Coot nation should be happy for any extra loving not found in a parking lot near a port-a-potty they can get.
Hope your niece plays well, MyFav.
And I'm not looking up picks of her since she's related to you.
However, all other wimmenz softball teams will get oogled by me later tonight, FYI.

Because it's just dumb. You guys rightfully make fun of the idiots who went to the LSU-Clemson game with their USC 4 LSU shirts.
The same applies here. You look like an idiot wearing the gear of a team not even playing. You look like even more of a loser when you're wearing your rivals gear.

USC 4 LSU shirts. That was coots pulling for the team playing against their rivals.
In this case, it is a Tiger fan wearing a Clemson shirt to root for the rival coots. See the difference? One of these things is not like the other.

There is never a bad place or time to sport a tiger paw, especially right in the middle of the arm pit of the south. Wear it proud ####. Just attending is supporting you're niece. Besides, how can she spot her favorite uncle in the stands unless he is wearing something that pops out at her? Genius thinking bro.

I say wear what you want. Will it hurt your nieces feelings if you show up in orange or will she expect it and live that you took your time to go support her. I doubt very seriously she cares what you wear just support her play
