Shooters?

Jan 4, 2015, 12:01 AM

I look around basketball programs within 5 hours of Clemson and see some great shooters, especially in the SoCon. Can we not get 1 or 2 sharpshooters every recruiting class to help this abysmal offense? I am not a fan of Oglesby from back in the day; especially how he acted, but, the shooting threat was significant and fun to watch.

Shooters like Oglesby either hate to play or stink at defense

That won't fly with Brownell. Getting a good sharp shooter is gonna require Brownell to bend a bit on the defensive end.

That's not true. Justin Anderson is arguably the best on ball defender in the ACC and has hit at above a .500 clip this year.

Duke has some good defenders who shoot the ball well

It's just finding the right guys...something BB has yet to do outside of KJ

He helped develop KJ and KJ invested the time and dedication to build himself up. But KJ is no pure shooter. He is an excellent athlete with incredible defensive instincts. But he is sti working on ballhandling and shooting.

He aint lighting up the NBA BC of his offense.

I'm not the biggest fan of bb but after a few comments on here today about we'd upset and since not much else to do I decided to watch tonight. Seriously the best shots on our part came from big man on the foul line. I saw air balls and 3 pointers rattle the rim. Upset no. Mostly embarrassed that Clemson can't seem to field a decent bb squad.
