Question: I wonder what do the “Big 2” are thinking…

Aug 4, 2023, 7:04 AM

about their own “Socialistic” equal distribution model that apparently exists within their own current situations as they observe the acrimony taking place with us?

I mean, Vandy, Ole Miss, Kentucky, South Carolina, Arkansas, Miss State, et al…ALL punch way below their weight and suck up hard earned resources that they haven’t contributed to as well!

The same could be said for the B1G! What has Purdue, Northwestern, Indiana, and others bring to the Football $$$ table?!?!

There should be an entire purge of these equal distribution structures and a complete overhaul. The Dukes, BCs, Ga Techs, Vandy’s, IUs, have had plenty of time to invest in Football but have refused to do the necessary work.

Who is to say we don’t see a major collapse and reconstitution of Big time Football schools who can honestly compete for a Natty? Realistically, how many programs can seriously vie for that every year? When is the last time you saw Kansas, Iowa, Miss State, or Vandy in the discussion?

Similar to how the Europeans manage their pro-Soccer leagues…

We should have a structure where teams are on a “performance” scale and have to earn their place to compete, and make more $$$. A “Premier” league type situation. Schools who continue to suck over an extended period of time should get downgraded and stuck in a lower tiered level

And teams that are achieving at a high level in the lower tier are brought up to the Premier League.
