20 years ago in the first season of a little known wide receiver’s coach. After getting blown out by Georgia and Wake Forest. When Tommy Bowden’s job was on the line. When all the cards were down. The Clemson Tigers steamrolled the FSU seminoles. Fast forward to 2008, that same WR coach takes over for Tommy Bowden. ESPN grades the hire as a D+.

Alright let’s go to January of 2017. That same WR coach, D+ hire according to ESPN, leads the Tigers to its first national title. The game is won on a touchdown pass Hunter Renfrow catches, and Paul Finebaum craps his pants on live TV.

Fast forward to 2023 after two seasons of not making it to the playoffs. The pundits and Dabo doubters are back in full force. Claiming the game has passed him by. Well come Saturday none of that will matter when FSU comes into Death Valley. Cause there is no one, and I mean no one, that is better at motivating a team in college football than Dabo Swinney.

So this Saturday, in front of 84,000 Tiger Maniacs.



And the millions and millions of Tigers watching from Chapin, South Carolina to Ruke Orhorhoro‘s hometown of Lagos, Nigeria.

And oh no, it’s not even gonna be close.

Cause Dabo 3:16 and Wade Woodaz tells FSU, you just got your a ss whooped.
