Fair points. The plague of inconsistencies is probably top of the list of frustrations. It’s similar to pass interference or holding calls. If you are going to “let them play”, fine, but don’t arbitrarily apply it differently when the other team has the ball.

It could, and if I remember correctly, ESECPN tried their best to talk Clemson out of the playoffs a couple of times saying that I think it was LSU or UGA deserve being in over Clemson bc the sec teams played championship teams on their schedules and they beat each other, and I think it was Pitt that Clemson had loss to that year, and it was Cuse the other time!!!

Nothing to see there but a SEC thinking person crying bc his team Sh!t itself when it was time for them to prove they belong in the playoffs. I mean it wasn't like Georgia slipped up at the start of the season and lost a game. They lost the game when they knew what they had and how they should position themselves to win, and they still loss the game to a 1 loss team!!!
Texas should have not been in the playoffs bc they lost to a 2 loss Oklahomo team, plus Texass struggled to beat TCU, and had to go into OT to beat Kansas St. FSU with a 13-0 record and beating Two sec teams in OOCP should have been in over Texass, and there is nothing that the playoff committee can say that will excuse them for putting big money Texass in the playoffs over FSU that actually earned their spot to be there better than $$$$Texass$$$$ did!!!

IMO, with UGA being the #1 ranked team in the country and held that ranking all year, then losing to the 8th ranked team playing their 13th game of the season, No, UGA don't deserve the right to be in the playoffs bc the first time they played a really good team they lose!!!!
