So I just listened to a David Teel podcast. It was only

12 mins, but the part about the meetings was only about 6 mins. The podcast was done late last night from Amelia Island, Florida.
*The plan would mean that any extra money earned for winning would come from the pot of increased money provided by the expanded football playoff.
*Viewership, ratings, or brand will play no part in increased shares.
*The ADs will take this plan home to the presidents for approval.
*The ACC is not going to dissolve today, tomorrow, next year, or even the following year, but it is in danger long term.
*The ACC is looking at other ways of generating more income. For example, the move from Greensboro to Charlotte should generate more income for the conference.
*He did not speculate as to whether members of the 7/8 had landing spots, or if dissolution was even a threat.
My take from the above:
I get the feeling that this will be approved and all will be quite again for the next two or three years, as Clemson and FSU bide their time and trim the penalty time and dollar amount. Will probably hear more rumblings around 2026, as we get within the 10-year mark of the end of the contract. At that time, I hope Clemson and FSU have spots in the Power 2 and can set the date for departure, which would be about three years later, perhaps 2029. That would leave seven years to negotiate down. The only problem with all of this is time is not on our side. The Power 2 could fill with Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame (they can get out of anything), etc. and take spots away.

Good points.... Just hope that the quality of competition and play stay at high levels until then.... Having GA and LSU on schedules for 24-26 can help....

None of that is enough to hold water. Clemson and FSU will leave the ACC in time for the 2025 season.
