I'm still trying to figure out how only 1 second went off the clock on the play after the PI with 2:00 to go.

Yep, I was a bartender at the time in downtown Clemson, I remember many people breaking a lot of things that night. In fact, I went into the bathroom and saw someone in there breaking a bottle, just so they could do it in peace I guess.

on Kyle Browning doing a toe drag into the end zone? Just terrible, terrible call. Setup GT on a short field.
Also, remember all the different holding calls (more like phantom holding) against Clemson that killed a drive late in the game?

This is why I still cringe every time we go to punt the ball in critical situations. I have visions of a messed up long snap that seemed to happen regularly during the Bowden years...

Explain that spot on the 3rd and 1 when two had it clearly marked as a first down and the white hat was 5 feet back?

Makes sense.
We had so many chances to put that game away. I'm glad those days of soft arm tackling defense are in the past. Also, the line up, get ready to snap, and then look over to the sidelines for another play were so frustrating.
